VII. BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH FOR MARIAN WINGO
For more than two decades Marian Wingo has effectively combined several
diverse talents to create a successful business dedicated to the development
and professional growth of our greatest natural resource, human beings.

As a teacher, professional educator, therapist, public speaker, columnist,
group facilitator, and professional trainer, Marian has taught school, worked
with individuals and groups, families and businesses, and has conducted
seminars and workshops across the United States as well as in Central America,
England, the Netherlands, Germany and Scotland.

Marian holds an Adjunct Faculty position for Central Texas College in
Killeen, Texas, and teaches general psychology, management and human resource
classes. Most recently she instructed classes for the US Navy in Yokosuka,
Japan. Marian is a consultant with both the Mississippi Arts Commission, MAC,
and EMCED, the East Mississippi Center for Educational Development, Inc.

Marian co-owns ImagineNation Enterprises, and offers diversified training
programs for women and men in the world of work. Areas of expertise include
diversity, communication skills, networking, risk taking, customer service,
dealing effectively with change, leadership skills, delegation and motivation,
conflict resolution, retirement, personal power, assertion training and
countering sexual harassment.

Marian maintains current licensing and certification through the American
Psychotherapy Association as a Life Certified Diplomate in Psychotherapy,
Nationally Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified
Counselors, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy credential at the Primary
Level through the Institute For Rational-Emotive Therapy.

Marian earned her Master's Degree with honors from George Peabody College of
Vanderbilt University. Her Bachelor's Degree is in Education & Leisure
Services from Florida State University.

Marian testified in Washington before the House Armed Services Sub-Committee
on Military Compensation in May of 1980, on behalf of former spouses of
military personnel as part of a nationwide effort that obtained legislation
protecting the rights of former military spouses.

Marian Wingo received a Letter of Commendation from the US Navy for her work
on board the USS O‚Brien (DD 975) and is recipient of a Gulf Coast Woman of
Achievement Award from the American Association of University Women and the
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Displaced Homemaker Program. She is
a past recipient of the Professional Development Leadership Award from the
American Society for Training & Development. She is listed in Who's Who in
the South & Southwest, Who's Who of American Women, and the World Who's Who
of Women.

In Marian's words, "In this new millennium it is essential that the home,
school and workplace foster a climate to maximize the growth potential for
every family member and student and each employee. For the individual who
dares to achieve and succeed and who thrives on the the potential within, my
training offers the ideal formula to personal and professional growth and
positive change."
