Storytelling Residency
Students enjoy performances and learn how to tell stories.
The experience builds classroom community, develops language
and cognitive abilities, and inspires confidence in public
speaking. The residnecy also includes a dynamic faculty in-service
program on communication in the classroom.
Folklore Residency
Students apply journalistic techniques as they gather stories
from family and community members. The Residency program also
includes storytelling performances for all students, a faculty
in-service program and book publication.
